1. Drivers must be 18, or 16 with parental approval.
2. Long pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves and industrial style boots that cover the ankles are required.
3. Full faced D.O.T. approved helmet with face shield, or goggles or safety glasses (must show Z87 to be OSHIA approved) and gloves are required.
4. All glass, plastic, and sharp projections must be removed.
5. No alcohol allowed in pits before or during the race. Anyone intoxicated will not be allowed to race.
6. Horse collars are mandatory.

2. Ignition must be stock. Stock ignition timing only. Not offset keys.
3. Electric, or pull start only. Electric start recommended to have, working, onboard battery. Jump boxes will be available out on the track to be used (would be wise to make your tractor easily accessible to be jumped).
4. Pump gas only. No auxiliary fuel systems.
5. Any type throttle may be used. Must have working return spring.
6. Must have factory made tether. (grounded safety switch)
7. Gas tank must be securely attached and protected. No tie straps or bungee straps.
8. Transmission must be from a lawnmower, and have a neutral position. Differential may be locked. Go cart style axles allowed. No aluminum or composite.
9. Clutch must work and be of a lawnmower style. No centrifugal, or snowmobile clutches allowed.
10. Any exposed chains or belts must have a guard.
11. All positive connections must be covered.
12. Adjustable pulleys allowed.
13. Engine location may be changed. Cylinder must forward or back. Engine must be centered side to side. Must have engine plate, made of steel, and must be same size as engine footprint.
14. Cut flywheels are NOT ALLOWED at all. If any tractor is caught running a cut flywheel it will be banned from racing with our group.
1. Must have lawnmower hood and lawnmower style fenders.
2. Must have basic lawnmower frame. Stock frame may be reinforced. No aluminum frames.
3. Must have “L” style front spindles or go cart spindles.
4. Steering wheel or handle bars allowed. Handle bars must be 6” diameter closed loops.
5. Must have lawnmower style seat with minimum 4” backrest.
6. Rear bumpers mandatory. Must be 2 bar, closed loop design. Lowest bar must be 4” to 6” from ground, and 2” narrower than rear wheels. Front bumpers allowed. Same design as rear, lowest bar 4” from ground. 12” maximum width.
7. Nerf bars are allowed -- must be 2" narrower than the tires on each side.
8. Mowing blades must be removed. Decks must be plastic, and 2” deep.
9. Go cart rims allowed. Turf type tires only. May be grooved. No go cart racing tires.
10. Must have working brakes, operated from the seated position.
11. Overall width “front and back” is 34” min and 40” max with no more than 6” offset. No projections beyond tires.
12. Chassis ground clearance is no min and 8” max. to lowest point.
13. No suspension allowed.
1. Every tractor must pass through the tech inspection before getting onto the track at each race.
2. During the races no hot laps can be run to test or check out your tractor, unless it is approved by tech or track official.
3. If mower stalls on the track, you are allowed 2 caution laps to restart. Cautions will be 3 laps only.
4. Anyone jumping the start will go to the rear. Second jump will result in a black flag.
5. Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a disqualification.
6. Tractor may not leave track and advance its position.
7. All drivers and pit crew will be charged $8 per person per event. Minimum 15 years old in the pit.
8. Membership fees are $15 per tractor, and $10 dollars per year to be a voting member.
9. All tractors and drivers should arrive 1 hour before scheduled event.
10. All drivers and pit crew must sign insurance waiver forms.
11. Permanent numbers at least 5” high, “in contrasting colors” must be on both sides and rear of tractor.
12. Flag rules:
GREEN FLAG: Start YELLOW: Caution RED: Stop BLACK: Disqualification WHITE: One lap to go WHITE/GREEN CROSSED: Half way point CHECKERED: Race over
13. Rain out will be rescheduled.
14. New times have been set for the races:
Start Tech at Noon (12:00 pm) Stop Tech by 1:15 pm Stop Hot Lapping 1:30 pm
If you show up after 1:15 your tractor will be teched but you may not get any hot laps.
If you show up after the numbers have started to be drawn you will start last. 15. Only exception that a committee of 5 determined by group can move a tractor up or down in a division.
16. We will draw for starting position in the heats. The A feature starting position will also be determined by a draw except for those drivers moving up from the B Feature (they will start in the rear of the field.
Up to and including 12.5 horse, single cylinder, valve in block, vertical shaft gasoline engine, originally designed for a riding lawn mower. Engine must be “out of box stock”. NO INTERNAL MODIFICATIONS. Disconnecting governor is allowed & any air cleaner of choice is allowed.

Here are the rules that are specific to the Modified Class – ALL OTHER RULES STAND.
Any vertical or horizontal shaft gas engine originally manufactured for a lawnmower with maximum of 46 cubic inch (Twin cylinder / Single cylinder). Modifications ALLOWED.
Go cart spindles and go cart tires are allowed.
Homemade steel frames may be built. These frames widths must meet 12” +/- 1” minimum and 16” +/- 1” maximum.
There is no need for a transmission in the Modified Division but a direct drive CANNOT be used.
Centrifugal clutch can be used in modified division.
Powder Puff Division can run all 3 Classes in same race -- Division II start in front, then Division I then last Modified.
